WHO WE ARE

Grit + Ash Designs is a local interior design studio located in Woodbine, Maryland. We are women owned and run with decades of design and construction experience. What sets us apart are the details. We manage all aspects of each project start to finish; overseeing each step to assure projects are done accurately, on time and neatly. Because we put a lot of thought and care into each project, our sites are always tidy and organized. Our goal is to ensure a job is completed to perfection. Founder and Lead Designer

Owner of Grit & Ash Designs, loving mom of 3, and our fearless leader with an impeccable eye for design. Wendy is creative and passionate about her work and brings her unique perspective to every project she takes on. A strong believer in collaboration, she’s always willing to listen to ideas from her team. She has a knack for finding the perfect balance between classic and modern design elements, making her studio stand out from the rest. With her leadership and expertise, Wendy has created the environment of growth and innovation that allows her team to create beautiful and memorable designs.

Kelsey B.

Lead Manager

Kelsey manages many aspects of the company and is a mom of two fur babies. The owner often jokes that Kelsey is her right hand and most times her left hand too. Kelsey is known for her goofiness and passion for design. She is an enthusiastic and creative problem solver and a great team player with a knack for finding solutions. You can often find her dancing around the warehouse to keep our moods up!

Erin K.

Erin, Kitchen Paint Lead

Erin is a mom of two and the lead of our kitchen paint team. She is reliable and extremely hardworking. She is always the first to lend a helping hand, and her positive attitude is contagious. Erin has the ability to find humor in everyday situations, making her mundane tasks more enjoyable. She is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that all clients are taken care of and happy.

Designer

Christy is a mom of three and one of our fabulous designers. She thinks outside the box and brings interesting and unique ideas to the table. She has an eye for detail and can bring a room to life with her creative touches. She has a great sense of humor, and is always joking around making work more enjoyable for all. Christy is a pleasure to work with and will be sure to bring enthusiasm and fun to any project.

Owner, W & Co.

Owner of W and Co., mom, and grandma, Wendy is an amazing stager who has an eye for design and knows how to make a space look inviting and unique. She has a free-spirited, hippie heart that loves trying new things. Always cheerful and radiating positivity, she brings rays of sunshine to those around her. She is passionate about her work, and she truly loves helping people create the home of their dreams.

The owner of our featured vendor @Terahbulldesigns, she is a woman who has mastered many skills and talents. She is our very own MacGyver! Terah is always quick on her feet, ready with intelligent and witty remarks. Her sarcasm is sharp and clever. She never stops learning and is always up for a challenge

Design Team

Kate is our resident youngster, starting her journey with us as a high school intern and currently working as a full-time employee during her college breaks. She is currently studying interior design and brings a youthful energy to the team. Kate is eager to learn and brings her creativity and passion to our projects. We are excited to see her grow and take on the great big world of design!
