Grit + Ash Designs is a local interior design studio located in Woodbine, Maryland. We are women owned with decades of design and construction experience. What sets us apart are the details. We manage all aspects of each project start to finish; overseeing each step to assure projects are done accurately, on time and neatly. Because we put a lot of thought and care into each project, our sites are always tidy and organized. Our goal is to ensure a job is completed to perfection. Wendy is creative and passionate about her work and brings her unique perspective to every project she takes on. A strong believer in collaboration, she’s always willing to listen to ideas from her team. She has a knack for finding the perfect balance between classic and modern design elements, making her studio stand out from the rest. With her leadership and expertise, Wendy has created the environment of growth and innovation that allows her team to create beautiful and memorable designs.

Lead Project Manager/Design Team
Kelsey manages many aspects of the company and is a mom of one and two fur babies. The owner often jokes that Kelsey is her right hand and most times her left hand too. Kelsey is known for her goofiness and passion for design. She is an enthusiastic and creative problem solver and a great team player with a knack for finding solutions. You can often find her dancing around the warehouse to keep our moods up!

Owner of W and Co., mom, and grandma, Wendy is an amazing stager who has an eye for design and knows how to make a space look inviting and unique. She has a free-spirited, hippie heart that loves trying new things. Always cheerful and radiating positivity, she brings rays of sunshine to those around her. She is passionate about her work, and she truly loves helping people create the home of their dreams.
