The Grit & Ash online furniture store is pleased to offer both in stock store items and new pieces ordered from the manufacturer, from the courtesy of your own home! In stock items and special order are labeled by categories below. Lead times on items vary depending on the product. Please email us at info@gritandash.com to check current lead times before ordering. We currently DO NOT SHIP furniture items, but do have a delivery service within the Central, MD area. (see details below)

In Stock Store Items

Love it online, but want to see it in person? Contact us to schedule an appointment to see it in real life. Once purchased you will be contacted to setup pick-up or delivery. Pickup will be at our store (Glenwood, MD) or warehouse/studio location (Woodbine, MD). All furniture MUST be picked up with 7 days or a storage fee may occur.

Special Ordered Items

To confirm lead times please contact us before purchasing with the item you’re interested in and we would be happy to check stock.

Once purchased your item will be ordered from the manufacturer. Backorder dates credited to delays in production may occur and are subject to change. We will notify you of any changes to your order. An order cannot be cancelled once placed. Our team will notify you once your piece has shipped. Upon arrival and inspection, we will contact you to setup pick up or delivery. Damage during shipping can happen. If your piece arrives damaged, we will file a claim with the manufacturer to replace it. This will result in delays. Our team will keep you updated throughout the process.

Delivery

Delivery is available for all items within our local area (Central MD). Please send us an email to info@gritandash.com with your address and item(s) you are interested in for a quote or if you have questions on if we deliver to you. 

Pick up Tips

Please check your dimensions against ours to make sure your piece will fit in your vehicle. Bring BLANKETS! Your piece will need padding for the drive home. You will potentially be meeting only one member of our team so bring help to load. Pieces suggested for delivery or that are very heavy will be noted in their description.  

Vintage Items

Many of our pieces are vintage or antique. We strive to only sell pieces in great shape based on their age. If you are worried about the condition of a vintage or antique piece, come see it in person first by setting up an appointment, or at our next store sale in Glenwood, MD. Pieces that are a little more loved do not make it on to our online shop.

Return Policy

The Grit & Ash furniture store does not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final, and all items are purchased as is.
